Boardsmill Camogie Feile Champions 2022

Boardsmill GAA Camogie Under 15’s travelled to Donaghmore/Ashbourne for Feile 2022 today (Saturday 25th June). They were up against some stiff opposition from big Clubs from Donegal, Wicklow, Louth and two from Dublin. They really and truly played out of their skin all day giving their all, game after game, in very blustery conditions.

Just to put into context what these girls have achieved today:

  • They only had 15 players, which meant each girl played every minute of all 5 games they played (other teams had panels of 24 & 26 with rolling subs).
  • They won all 5 games
  • 7 of their 15 players are 12 years of age

What a super achievement we at the Club are immensely proud of you and well done to all Mentors & Parents. Enjoy the celebrations.

Winning Team with Mentors Paul Reilly, Christine Fagan, Caroline Loughran and Deirdre Gibbons.
