As this weird and wonderful year draws to a close we look back as a small GAA Club, at the many accomplishments we’ve achieved.
Our underage continues to go from strength to strength. Special thanks to all the underage coaches who are working hard with our juveniles in all codes (hurling, football, camogie and ladies football). A big thanks also to the parents and players themselves for their effort and commitment.
To our adults teams, we got into numerous finals, won some, lost some and some yet to be played all with a huge commitment and effort. A special thanks to their Management teams who left no stone unturned throughout the year and put in tremendous work.
To our Club officials and committees huge thanks for all your work that goes on in the background, but is so vital to the running of the Club.
We gave back as a Club this year and raised €10,000 for Charity’s in our locality. We helped with grocery deliveries and essentials to those most vulnerable in the Community and we’re always available to help out where we can, please just reach out.
Finally wishing a Happy New Year to each and everyone of you. Here’s hoping 2021 brings a bit more normality and action on the field when this pandemic dies down.
Stay safe, from all at Boardsmill GAA.
