Ladies Division Two are through to the final after a fantastic team performance and a well-deserved victory!

The match got off to the perfect start with a brilliant team-worked goal finished superbly by Susan Kealy, who is certainly wearing the scoring boots lately. Susan finished the game with an impressive personal tally of 2-1. Further goals came from the Troy sisters, with Amy Troy finding the net in the first half before Emma Troy added another in the second half.

Paula Dorian worked tirelessly throughout the game and was rewarded with a stunning point in the opening half, while Claudia Durkan contributed two excellent points and constantly made herself available as an attacking option in the full forward line. Kym McGrath also put in a strong performance at wing forward.

The defence were outstanding throughout, with all six backs performing brilliantly. The full back line of Hannah Kealy, Aideen Guy and Mae Fahy proved to be every forward’s nightmare, remaining solid and composed throughout. The half back line of Sarah Bagnall, Rachel Troy and Kate McEvoy also worked tirelessly and defended superbly.

At midfield, Emma and Nicole Troy dominated around the middle of the pitch, constantly driving forward in attack while also winning crucial kickouts and breaking up opposition play.

A special mention also goes to goalkeeper Ciara Ashe, who kept a clean sheet and delivered very effective kickouts throughout the game.
