A very successful two day hurling and football club camp was held on Tuesday and Wednesday last. Kids from 6 to 13 years of age all had great fun with a super mix of games and matches for the two days 💙🤍.

Big thanks goes out to Christine O’Brien, our GPO Neil Heffernan, Coaches (Ciaran, Karla, Katie, Carolanna & Jessica) and Coaching Assistants (Mai, Brid & Roisin) who did tremendous work with each group improving skills and more importantly having fun 😊. And of course to all those who gave up their time to help organise it – Sarah, Thelma, Julie Anne & Suzann thank you 😉🥰.

We were honoured to have 2 time All Ireland Winning (that has a nice ring to it 😉) Meath LGFA Manager Eamonn Murray and 🌟 Centre Back Emma Troy join us for a wee chat with the kids. The kids loved telling Eamonn & Emma of their stories of where they were watching the match and their thoughts on it 💚💛.

🍦Finally, as kids, coaches, organisers and visitors were soooooo good 😁 we were all treated to an ice cream from Uncle Tommy (Ennis) which was all kindly sponsored by Bert McLoughlin of CastleMac Carpentry.
