Europe’s most authentic Queen Tribute Band – QWEEN – are set to rock Trim Castle Hotel on Friday the 3rd November. A two-hour sensational production of Queen’s greatest hits preserves the sound, image and stage personas of the classic band where you’ll be able to belt out anthems like “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Don’t Stop Me Now,” and “We Will Rock You” at the top of your lungs and dance the night away!
Boardsmill GAA are hosting the event in a return of the ever popular “Hooley”, previously named the “Halloween Hooley”. The ‘Mill Club are no strangers to organising such events having started the Hooley in 2004 and had some great bands over the years like; Jerry Fish & The Mudbug Club, Hothouse Flowers, Brush Shields, The Classic Beatles and Aslan to mention just a few.

It’s always been a fantastic night of entertainment and with such a brilliant act in Qween this year we’ve no doubt it will be just as good if not better than previous years. DJ Anto will follow the band to keep the night going into the early hours. This year again, we’ve also the added element of optional fancy dress which always adds to the entertainment and craic on the night with some super prizes up for grabs for the best costumes.
