A little about St. Michael’s NS and Centre for Autism

St. Michael’s Primary School was opened on the 29th of September 1986. In 2001, St. Michael’s was asked to open a Special Class for children with autism spectrum disorder by the Department of Education and Science. The school management, staff and students embraced the idea with enthusiasm.

They have 36 pupils with autism enrolled in their six special classes. They hope, this year, to complete work on a playground for these pupils which will cater for their individual needs so any money raised, will go towards completion of this much needed project.

So dig deep folks, as you’ll see it’s an incredible worthy cause.

Here’s the area they wish to upgrade.
